Last weekend the student teachers did their best of cleaning the classrooms. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of them in action. The second step of the process will be that the caretaker put up wooden lists on the wall for sticking pictures on.
The technical groups (teacher trainers) are responsible for making teaching material. They will make two kinds of material, one to be used in TTC and one to be used in primary school.
We have three challenges related to the teaching material:
- They don't know how to use material in teaching
- Find equipment to make the materiel of (we don't have any money)
- Find the time to get started (The trainers are always busy)
Next to TTC we have a laboratory school that also needs some improvements. What they need is actually a new building. Not all students have a desk or chair. They sit on the floor or stand by the desk. The school is waiting for a renovation, but it takes time. Meanwhile the children and teachers try to do their best.
